Blue Peter uses sync calibration and per-speaker delay adjustment to align audio output across all connected speakers. During a quick calibration step, the system measures and compensates for the latency differences between speakers, bringing them within milliseconds of each other. The result: clean, coherent sound instead of distracting echo.
Version 1 supports up to 4 simultaneous Bluetooth speakers. We are actively working on expanding this to 8 speakers in v2 with improved hardware and connection management. The more speakers, the bigger the sound.
The Blue Peter hub provides 6+ hours of continuous playback on a single charge. It charges via USB-C (Power Delivery compatible) so you can top it off with the same charger you use for your phone or laptop.
Each speaker connects to the hub using standard Bluetooth, which typically provides a range of approximately 10 meters (33 feet) per speaker. In open outdoor settings with clear line of sight, you may get even better range. Walls and obstacles will reduce it.
Yes — Blue Peter comes with a free companion app for both iOS and Android. The app handles session creation, speaker management, volume control, sync calibration, and diagnostics. It is designed to be simple and fast so you can get playing in under two minutes.
